Accies Tour to Berlin

Next year the UGFU champions tournament is in Berlin on Friday 24th May to Saturday 25th May.

If you are aged 30 or over you can play. Please let me know if you are interested by filling in the doodle. We need a decent sized squad and already have a number of people interested.

Meet in Berlin on Thursday night. Team dinner.
Two games on the Friday.
Two games on the Saturday. Celebrate our glorious victory on Saturday night.
Return home with a massive trophy on Sunday.

Here is a Berlin 2019 doodle for you to fill in if you are interested.

There is a return to Amsterdam also set for next year. Sean Lightbown has confirmed that there is an Accies team going. That team is not age restricted and is open to all. It is set for 8th and 9th June 2019. Let me know if you are interested. I can put you in touch with people who went earlier this summer.

Annual subs are £40 per player. Pay them to your skippers please.

We now have a club web shop where you can get Accies gear including personalised training tops.

We are also now using The Bull in London Colney as our quasi-clubhouse.

Please go there after games if possible as that is where we will be putting on hospitality for opposition teams. I know that it is not convenient for the stations but we tried places in Radlett but they were not keen on getting large numbers of footballers turning up on a Saturday afternoon.

We are now only able to use the portakabins at Shenley.

New Referees Training Course
We have set up a new Referee Training Course to run during October.
The course starts on Wednesday 17th October and will take place at a club in Kibrooke, SE3. The link to book places on this course is:
Further details of the course structure and content are available on our website. To go to the page please click Here.
We want to increase the number of qualified referees available for our clubs and leagues and we need to recruit as many people as we can to these courses.
I should be very grateful if you would circulate this email to your club members and anyone else you know who may be interested in doing the referees training course and encourage them to sign up. If they have any questions please ask them to contact me.
Thanks a lot and regards,
John Monk
