Abban Magos Charity Challenge

I am currently training to circumnavigate around Mount Blanc for Landaid, a charity with the aim of eradicating youth homelessness in the UK. They have been at the forefront of rehousing the survivors of the Grenfell Tower Disaster. I'll be doing this hike with a number of my colleagues at Colliers with the aim to raise £20,000 for Landaid.

A bit about the trek/hike:

The Tour du Mont Blanc is one of the most famous long distance treks and take us across Italy, Switzerland and France in only 3 nights and 4 days.

We will be:

Circumnavigating the highest mountain in Europe (4,810 meters) ascending Col de Balme at 2,190 meters.
Hiking 10–20 kilometres (6.2-12.4 miles) each day with as much as 1,000 meters (1 kilometre) of elevation gain.

Please visit our my.donate page ( for more information. This is also the site to make the donation.

Any contribution will help and all donations go directly to Landaid, which is very important to us.

It would be great to get the support from UCL Academicals

Many thanks

2nds Tour to Bavaria

The 2s returned on Sunday from a highly successful pre-season tour of Bavaria. The Accies faced off against Victoria Erlangen, a non-league side who boast former Slovakia forward Marek Mintal amongst their ranks (although fortunately for us he was away!). A high quality encounter was played in great spirit and whilst an injury-depleted and somewhat hungover 2s side raised their game and were the better team for most of the match, we suffered the misfortune of having a penalty saved (by an Austrian second division goalkeeper) when 2-1 down and eventually succumbed 4-1. The highlight for the Accies was a memorable strike from maverick midfielder Liam Todd.
The tour also featured the formal handover of the 2s captain's candle from "Club Legend Rick Bulmore" to new leader Tom Harrington. The handover was expertly administered by David "the Chairman" Cox. An epic flight delay on the return journey did nothing to dispel the squad’s enjoyment of the tour or the pre-season optimism as we look forward to the new season in Senior 2 North following last year’s promotion.
Pictures of the touring squad before the game and at the famous "G-Spot" bar in the Bavarian countryside are attached.
