Fixtures for Saturday and Cup Glory for the 3rds

April 3, 2017 - 3:31 PM

Dear Gents,

Another cup success as the 3rds won the LOB Junior Cup 5-2 after extra time.

New players are always welcome. Get recruiting. We’ll find a game for them somewhere.

Please make sure that you are up to date re subs, annuals and any fines. It helps us to sort out all the finances over the summer and saves skippers from having to chase for payment.

If anybody is interested in the Accies Legends tour please fill in the doodle link below.

Feel free to send the doodle link below to anybody aged 30 or over that you think might be interested in coming along. There must be a few current Accies players that qualify for this now.

We were invited by the Italians to a game when we met them in Portugal last season. I need to see if we can get enough people to make a trip to Rome worthwhile.

I have picked four possible dates. The date in June means that we can beat the Italians and then watch the Champions League Final in the evening.

Please fill in the below and I’ll let you know whether we have the numbers.

Spencer has found a company that will hopefully be able to help us organise flights and accommodation so that we can fly out Friday; have a meal and hit some bars on Friday night; play on Saturday; hit more bars on Saturday night; and fly home on Sunday.

Here’s the new link. Please fill it in asap and I’ll keep you updated.

April 8th

Take the chance to try and recruit new players for next season. If you can put up the attached poster somewhere convenient please do so.

For those of you using parkrun there is a UCL Academicals FC running club on there so you can compare your times with others in the club. is the link.
