Dear Gents,

New players are always welcome. Get recruiting. We’ll find a game for them somewhere.

Annual subs are £45 this season. This includes a voluntary £5 contribution towards the student football club. Each team should aim to raise a decent amount please. If you wish to opt out please let your skipper know when you hand over the subs.

FUNDING WORKSHOP – MONDAY 20TH MARCH 2017

The AFA, London FA and Middlesex FA are once again set to host a Funding workshop giving clubs an insight into what funding grants are available to them and how you can grow your club effectively.

If you would like to learn more about revenue and capital funding, including what works when writing funding bids then this is the workshop for you. The workshop will help grassroots clubs to better understand funding and how to obtain grants.

The event will be hosted at Nike, Film House, 142 Wardour Street, London W1F 8DD on Monday 20th March 2017, 7pm-9pm.
There will also be the opportunity for clubs to get help from County FA representatives with their Football Foundation Grow the Game applications.

FA Goalkeeping Level 1 Coaching Course – May 2017
This course is ideal for coaches who want to improve the performance of their goalkeepers. Learn how to develop and improve your goalkeeper’s technique and plan and prepare progressive technical practices. Course details are:

FA Youth Award Module 3 – March 2017
An FA Youth Award Module 3 will take place in March/April 2017. Course details are:
 
Day 1 and 2: Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March 2017
Day 3 and 4: Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th April 2017

FA Level 1 Coaching Course – May 2017
The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football provides learners with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players from under 7 to open age.

Learners will gain an insight into the game in England, how it’s played and how they can coach to better support the development of future players. The qualification is designed to prepare learners to coach football within the grassroots game.
