CHARTER STANDARD / CPD EVENTS – MIDDLESEX FA
The Middlesex FA have a number of upcoming CS / CPD events which AFA clubs are invited to book onto.

FA Coach Mentoring - This workshop offers coaches an insight into what is mentoring, supporting others, the FA Mentoring Programme and feedback, including giving and receiving. The event will include theory and observational practical workshops to demonstrate working with coaches and mentoring scenarios, helping coaches to understand the importance of mentoring.

This workshop will be delivered by Kevin Green, Regional Coach Mentoring Officer (London) and will count towards 2 hours of Licensed Coaches Club CPD for Level 1 and 2 coaches (Coaches of other levels can attend but will not be able to claim CPD hours for attending). The full details of the session are: Thursday 14th April 2016 - 7.00pm - 9.00pm @ Larkspur Rovers Youth F.C, Priors Farm Lane, Off Eastcote Lane, Northolt, Middlesex, UB5 5FE.

Developing Defending Play - Out of Possession - This workshop offers coaches an insight into defending play and the implications with regards to supporting the development of players in the 12-16 age groups. The event will include theory and observational practical workshops and bring to life elements of The Future Game, helping coaches to create effective defending practices.

This workshop will be delivered by Christina Oshodi, County Coach Developer and will count towards 2 hours of Licensed Coaches Club CPD for Level 2 and 3 coaches (Coaches of other levels can attend but will not be able to claim CPD hours for attending). The full details of the session are:
Monday 18th April 2016 - 6.00pm - 8.00pm @ Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Centre, Gatting Way, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1ES.

To book on, please use the following link http://eventspace.thefa.com/middlesexfa/participant/arrangement.aspx?id=157762#regform

Formats of Football - Kevin Green, FA Regional Coach Mentor Officer, will deliver a two hour practical and theory workshop on Formats of Football. The aim of the workshop is to look at appropriate practices and reflection for transitioning from one format to another, for example 7v7 to 9v9. Parts will include the technical/tactical and physical demands but we will also examine the social and psychological corners. As players move from one format to another there are things to be considered away from just the ‘playing’ elements. They are also moving because they’re getting older. There will also be some information on managing behaviour linked to the session.

This workshop is free to attend and will count towards 2 hours of Licensed Coaches Club CPD for Level 1 and 2 coaches (Coaches of other levels can attend but will not be able to claim CPD hours for attending). The full details of the session are: Wednesday 11th May 2016 - 7.00pm - 9.00pm @ Bedfont Sports Club, Hatton Road, Bedfont, Middlesex, TW14 8JR.
